Xbox SmartGlass app for Android released

Microsoft has officially released its Xbox Smartglass app for Google's Mobile platform.The app requires Android 4.0 or higher and will allow users to interact with their Xbox 360 to control video playback,navigate the interface and search content. Xbox Smartglass is a companion application for Xbox 360 available for Windows 8,Windows Server 2012,Windows phone and Android devices future iOS support is also expected.It was announced by Microsoft during E3 2012 and released on October 26,2012 coinciding with the release of Windows 8. After signing in with your Xbox membership,your Android will have access to a slew of smart remote features for touch based navigation of the Xbox 360 interface and controlling apps and games that support smartglass.
