integrated Tegra LTE processor.
Nvidia Announces Tegra 4i
Nvidia launched its Tegra 4 'wayne' SoC, a high-end ARM processor with four Cortex-A15 cores and a 72-core GPU. The Tegra 4 is Nvidia's new high end
ARM chip, made for 'super phones' and tablets. The Tegra 4 does appear to be an expensive and power hungry chip, so in order to complement its flagship
chip Nvidia presented the Tegra 4i. The Tegra 4i is a smaller and more energy efficient chip that is set to release at the end of 2013.
The Tegra 4i is a nanometer chip, but smaller, because Tegra 4i doesn't have a Cortex-A15 cores of the Tegra 4, but revised Cortex A9 cores.
Nvidia claims it's improved the Cortex A9 design, presented the changes to ARM. Which then was integrated into fourth revision of the Cortex A9 core.
This latest revision should be 15 to 30 percent faster at the same clock speed than the previous one. The cores in the Tegra 4i run at an unprecedented
clock speed of 2.3GHz, and Nvidia claims that CPU speed is in fact twice as high as that of the Tegra 3. It's the first SoC to feature the new R4 version of the Cortex A9,
The Tegra 4i also has a fifth energy efficient core that takes over when only little power is required.
The Tegra 4i has only 60 GPU cores compared to the 72GPU cores of the Tegra 4. Nvidia hasn't specified anything yet about the memory interface on the new chip.

Western Digital is working on 5mm thick hybrid drives
Western Digital working on reducing the size of the disks. WD hopes to offer 500GB drives soon that are just 5mm thick. In 2008, a 9.5mm enclosure was required
to harbor such a capacity, a number which dropped down to 7mm just last year.
Western digital has added 32GB of flash memory to the 500GB hard drive. The result is a hybrid disk called WD Black SSDHD. The WD Black SSD has a
downside as well. To use the available storage, special drivers are required for Windows operating system. Western Digital has not yet issued a statement on how this
will affect the installation and ease of use. The 5mm thick drive will have a special SATA-connector which will be featured only on specific ultrabooks.
the exact released hasn't been mentioned yet.

Micron creates 20nm TLC memory chip with 128 gigabit capacity
Micro has been able to create Triple Level Cell (TLC) chips with a capacity of 128 gigabit. The chips are manufactured using a 20nm production process and as the name suggest, are capable of storing three bits per memory cell. This combination allows for the same storage capacities to be created using just two-thirds of the chip surface. One of the downsides of the technology is that the writing speeds are rather disappointing and memory cells can be written only 750x. Through over-provisioning and wear-leveling algorithms, the durability of the chips should last over a longer period of time as well.
Micron's 128 gigabyte TLC chips will predominantly be used in memory cards and USB flash drives. Micron claims that its 20nm TLS chip has the greatest data density in the world. With a 146mm² surface, the chip is roughly 25% smaller than a 128 gigabit MLC chip. Micron has yet to reveal any information regarding the first products featuring the technology.
